BICS Forum Jan 21st & 22nd 2016

The BICS Annual Forum takes place in DIT on January 21st and 22nd 2016. It is a learning and networking opportunity for students and staff and this year explores the topics of inclusion, developing leaders and communication. “Becoming Leaders, Being Heard & Including All”

We are delighted to welcome some very interesting speakers and look forward to meeting all our society friends at this interactive and collaborative two days. Please be sure to register below, all staff involved in Societies or who work with students and all students involved in societies are very welcome.

Our speakers include well known industry and community leaders to help us debate the quality of leadership and how can it be nurtured and learnt. Plus representatives from a National Mental Health Organisation and ASIAM to look at the ways in which societies can support inclusion and promote positive mental health on their campuses. We will also look at how we communicate from speaking in public to social media and dealing with conflict. During the 2 days there will be lots of opportunities to interact, network, find out more about BICS and also how how to enter the BICS Awards (April 13th & 14th in Limerick).
